Mostly Modern’s Music & Medicine
Mission
Music & Medicine was an outreach program launched in 2020 by Mostly Modern Projects, to provide paid work to top-caliber artists while providing healing, restoration, and the joys of music to community centers, hospitals, and parks, seeking to bring vitality back to our communities during the pandemic.
Top professional artists from American Modern Ensemble, Mostly Modern, Broadway, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall & more, performed everything from solos to quintets. Musical selections ranged from classical, contemporary, popular, and Broadway standards, from soothing, healing, and calming music to lively, uplifting, transformative selections.
Victoria Paterson continued this mission by joining forces with Sing For Hope as the Director of Community Arts in 2022 and now works full time for Mostly Modern Projects.
